Robots are true all-rounders: They explore foreign planets, play chess or football and help us humans in the household and at work.

In our Science Camp Robotics you will have the possibility to work with the humanoid robot NAO.

You will learn what a humanoid robot is, you will control a NAO graphically from your computer and teach it new things. Then we will test your program on the real NAO robot together here at the institute and show you how the robot follows your instructions. Let the NAO run, talk, dance and much more!

At the end of the week, you will also get a first insight into the text-based programming language Python and be able to give the NAO further commands. Each of you can define own tasks to be programmed on the robot working individually or in groups.
Previous knowledge is not required!

The  Science Camp Robotics is carried out together with the High Performance Humanoid Technologies Lab (H²T) at the Institute of Anthropomatics and Robotics and organized in cooperation with the ZML - Center for Technology-Assisted Learning and the Schülerakademie Karlsruhe.

This event is part of the project Real World Lab - Robotic AI and is supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture Baden-Württemberg with funds from the state digitization strategy digital∂bw.
