Application

It is possible to apply for a position as a doctoral student at KSIST at any time.

Currently only doctoral students who already have a PhD position at KIT can apply for a position at KSIST, provided that the supervisor endorses the participation to the KSIST training program. Furthermore, the envisaged research area has to be related to at least one of the .   

In order to apply for a position as a doctoral student at KSIST, please send your application per email to info∂kcist.kit.edu.

The application must include the following documentation:

• Curriculum vitae
• Institute and department at KIT
• Starting date of PhD position
• Current financial source
• Preliminary PhD thesis title
• Endorsement letter signed by the supervisor of the PhD thesis. This can (must not) be a separate email
